I was born in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and my upbringing was split between the U.P. and Denver, Colorado. After discovering programming in my early twenties, I’ve spent nearly a decade working as a professional web developer.

My experience spans front-end application development, UI/UX design, interactive experiences, API and server-side engineering, as well as networking and Linux systems. I enjoy building thoughtful, performant applications and exploring how design and engineering intersect to create engaging user experiences.

Outside of work, I spend my time kayaking, fishing, working on my car and Jeep, and diving into all kinds of hands-on projects and crafts. At home, I’m kept busy by a crew of nine cats, three dogs, and a rabbit.
